The technical program of the EAGE Seismic Inversion 2024 conference consists of oral and poster presentations on a broad selection of topics. Extended Abstracts (4 full pages) for this conference should be submitted according to the following topics:

1. Planning an inversion project


1.1 Rock physics and feasibility
1.2 Data conditioning and AVO/AVA fidelity
1.3 Prior model building (including neural networks, FWI, other)
1.4 Setting objectives and establishing business value

2. Inversion workflows 


2.1 Inversion algorithms (3D, 4D, deterministic, stochastic, probabilistic, 1 step, 2 step)
2.2 Multi-component, azimuthal and other methods for handling anisotropy
2.3 Wave-equation inversion, non-linear methods
2.4 Machine learning optimisation and neural network based inversions
2.5 Simultaneous inversion for velocity and reflectivity
2.6 Estimation of uncertainty around predicted elastic and/or reservoir properties

3. Using products from a seismic inversion


3.1 QA/QC of inversion products
3.2 Integration of inversion products into subsurface workflows (model building, well planning, resource estimation, etc)
3.3 Use of inversion in 'green' energy projects (CCUS projects, wind, etc)
